Ever Try A Shower Meditation? Make Time For Your Self Care & Empowerment While Showering

Have you ever tried shower meditation? Showering is already calming and mood-lifting so why not use it to connect and be mindful. Here is why:
> You are truly alone. This is somewhere void of distractions even just for a few minutes you should be able to be quiet and reflect.
> You engage all the senses. Showering is a 360 sensory experience and so is meditation. Take this time for yourself when all your senses can be involved.
> If you have time to shower, you have time to meditate. This way you can combine the two things and give yourself the time you wouldn’t otherwise have. Whether the shower is 3 minutes or 15, just spend the time focusing on the present moment. Be kind and curious about yourself.
> Because there is no ‘right way’ to do it. The most important thing is to develop a practise which is right for you. If this is closing your eyes and being still and silent or just very aware of your surroundings in the present moment. You could even try a guided meditation while in there. It’s up to you!
