Self-esteem is how we perceive ourselves, the feelings we get when we think about our appearance, and our successes. These feelings we have about ourselves help defining whether we are lovable, satisfied and unique.

1) Avoid negative self-talk. Change your words, we are what we say we are. We often use the word, I'm not, I can't, I've never been... Be mindful of your words and start by just saying the opposite


2) Stop comparing yourself to others One of the first and most important steps to achieving a positive self-outlook is to stop comparing yourself to others. You can only work with what you have, everything else is wasted energy.


3) Exercise Along with moving your body, working out is amazing for your head. Just add 10 mins a day and you will begin to feel the health benefits of exercise includes clearer thoughts and memories. When you get your body moving, endorphins are released. Endorphins make you feel better physically, they also improve concentration skills

4) Live in the present You can’t change the past, and you have no way of predicting the future. So it is important that you focus on the here and now to establish a positive outlook and not wasting your time and energy on worrying about the past or future


5) Take A Media Detox We are inundated and bombarded with advertising and images that we compare ourselves too. What if we just stopped making comparisons or lived in the real world more.
