Yesterday a friend texted me the question, How long did our transformation take place? I sat on it for part of the day, it was a question I had never really thought about till that moment. When I had that “moment” 4+ years ago my eyes opened and I wanted more for ME and my family. I wanted more time, better health and empowered to make better choices and the journey began.

My Journey Was Slow At First: Food Choices & Workout

The first year I began to try healthier routines. Making better food choices and starting to workout. It was a daily struggle at the beginning. I rationalized my food at times, I cancelled workouts, but I knew I felt better when I was on the path so some days I dragged my self back. It got easier…

Workouts: I found a friend who was willing to trainer me, and he taught me to love the challenge of working out. Basic Weight training, with strength and core building became the outline for my workouts. Starting basic and building off each skill it was the challenge that kept me interested. He is a dear friend who I still train with 160 mins a week.

You Need To Find What Challenges You For a Workout: JitJitsu, Kickboxing, Training, CrossFit…

Food Choices: I started to flip over packages of food and read the ingredients and making a choice to eat it after understanding what I was eating. I learned quick what was making me sick, wheat, sugar and processed foods. NOT A SHOCKER right? I began to see it as voting with my wallet for quality food that was healthy for my body and my family. Started to change my meals reducing bread and pasta, cut my juice drinks with water, started changing the snack for my kids and family…

My Journey Picked Up Speed”: Intermittent Fasting

As simple as my mom mentioning Intermittent Fasting and hearing that she lost 3 lbs the first week I had to try it, and it worked immediately. It took a bit of time to adjust, but each week with making better food choices, working out 3 days a week 40 minutes each and adding the intermittent fast, it was like a snowball rolling down the hill


My Journey: The Trifecta Effect & Teaching You

My Trifecta Effect: seemed to be reducing my bread, sugar and processed food to a bare minimum (2-3 times a week) intermittent fasting twice a week and a 3 day workout. I was losing, toning and leaning up rapidly, some weeks 3-5lbs down

Teaching You: Friends began to ask me what I was doing to stay fit and I started to share my journey and they began to lose, tone and lean up. So here I am on my next part of my journey, which includes sharing my story and helping others. I’m excited to share my story and teach others about better food choices, fasting and workouts because currently everyone that I’m working with is losing, toning and leaning up.

When you eyes begin to open and you have that “moment” and the decision to change to a healthier lifestyle is in front of you grab on to it because health is wealth and if you make a bit of time for yourself this coming year you could have a snowball effect to a healthier lifestyle and my way is REAL FOOD, REAL FITNESS, REAL PEOPLE
