I need you to start thinking about 2019 and your goals. Start thinking today, now not for a future date or for January 1st. Of course you need a “start date” for your goals but take your time to?thinking about and visualize what you would like to see happen for you and your family.
My Fitness Goals From Past Years
Become More Healthy
This was my “Moment”, the moment in time I decided to make a change. I took the year to learn about the foods that were making me sick, wheat, sugar and processed food. My mindset changed and looked at food as fuel instead of comfort or emotional. This was the year I began to workout, and try new classes to see what I liked to do. Be In Less Pain
This past year I had all sorts of injuries new and old holding me back, it was time to figure out how I could be in less pain. Pain messes with your head and can cause anxiety or depression. For a while I was definitely in a funk. So I learned stretching would help so now I stretch twice a day. I read that meditation would be helpful. I downloaded the Headspace app, I will admit haven’t been consistent but its a goal in 2019. I learned about supplements, and started taking fish oil and turmeric for inflammation and joint pain.
This Year My Goal is to Set Routines And Get Organized
I’m always losing things if you are in my orbit oh you know…. lol? I write a shopping list and never take it. Im terrible with a calendar. But this year along with my past goals im going to work on getting organized and setting routines. I’ve been listening to my audible app, The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod, along with 15 Secrets Successful People Know About Time Management by Kevin Kruse and trying what they suggest

What You Need To Do To Set Your Fitness Goals
Get a Journal
Start writing your fitness goals for 2019 of course add other goals. Find empowering saying and write them in your journal. If you like to draw or want to doodle do it! Things To Do, Things to Remember can also go in the journal.
Set a Plan
Set a start date, tell your friend and family to keep you accountable. Sign up for classes with a friend or start a group at the gym to meet at a certain time. Start waking up earlier.? Make a plan and work the steps out slowly, the plan will change for sure but start somewhere and make a plan
Change Your Mindset
Food is energy but it is a commodity too that we are all a bit brainwashed that we need the food in the colorful shiny wrappers. we are taught to have 3 meals maybe four a day and we are not educated consumers for our health. ?We need to find healthy alternative to wheat (bread, pasta, flour) sugar and processed food. We need to vote with our wallet for quality food. We need to eat Real Food and as clean as we can.? We need to look at this journey as a healthy lifestyle not a diet.
