Can’t Get Time Back But Can Get More Energy

The one thing we cant get back in life is time, and we all want more time. We hear it all the time… “If I had more time, I’d workout” “I cant make time in the morning for that, it takes me every minute to get out the door in time.” I barely have time to sit down at night to watch my favorite show”

Ok we can’t get time back but what if you can get more energy instead? What if there were a things each morning that if you added you could get through your day with ease, less stressed, more productive and more efficient throughout the day.

Wait….Who Uses Power Hours?

Listening to an Audible by Kevin Kruse ” 15 Secrets Successful People Know About Time Management: The Productivity Habits of 7 Billionaires, 13 Olympic Athletes, 29 Straight-A Students, and 239 Entrepreneurs” I realized I SHOULD at LEAST try to do what other VERY successful people do every morning.

Virgin Founder, Richard Branson, said “I can’t tell you where I’d be if I hadn’t had a pen on hand to write down my ideas as soon as they came to me,” Got myself a journal the next day!

Designing your Power Hour

We all know Food is Energy! If we eat crap we are going to feel like crap. Same with Self Care for ourselves for your head, body and soul. When we take care of ourselves we have more energy and a clearer head.

Hydrate, Stretch, Meditate & Journal

Hydrate: As soon as you wake drink a large glass of water to hydrate your body. We are dehydrated when we wake and coffee and tea won’t do the same.

Stretch: Set a timer for 10 mins STRETCH and use a body roller. Each day work on your 10 min routine, listen to your body and move.

Meditate: Download an app and put your ear buds in and make yourself sit there, clearing our head is super important but we don’t allow this time for us. Make Yourself Do It. I make made myself the last week and feel better already

Journal: Find a fun notebook or journal and WRITE! Use your journal for everything things to remember, to do, goals, fantasies, affirmations, doodle and draw in, food log, workout plan.

Tips To Start Simple

  1. Set timer for 10 mins for each activity, stretch, meditate, and journal.

  2. Set Alarm each day or week earlier by 10-20 mins to get up earlier.

  3. Be prepared with a bottle of water near alarm

  4. write down your new routine in your journal to refer and make changes
