The most commonly asked question I get from clients and friends is ‘What do you eat in a day?’ I only eat REAL foods, I flip over the packet of anything and read the ingredients. If they are foods I can pronounce, which don’t sound like a science project then I eat them. I make simple meals with 5 ingredients or less when I can. I eat organic, non-gmo foods with reduced sugar. 80% of getting in shape and leading a better lifestyle is about the foods you eat. 20% is about the workouts! So here’s an example of what I eat in a day:

Homemade trail mix: At Trader Joe’s I bought organic almonds pistachios and peanuts, and sprinkled a three berry mix into the mixture of nuts which includes Raisins blueberries and cherries.

Sautéed Beets. They came in my misfit market this past week, I researched if the greens were edible and the best way to cook it. I sautéed the beet tops with avocado oil, salt pepper garlic and a splash of balsamic vinegar.
