Ever wonder what are the natural flavoring and colors in our processed food?
I came across a few articles years back that made me skeptical of the words "All Natural"
Did You Know? That Castoreum is the secretion of beaver anal gland and that is smells like vanilla and raspberry and has been used in ice cream, beverages, baked goods, chewing gum and perfumes. The FDA considers it a “natural flavor,” since it is derived from a natural source.

Did You Know? In 2012 Starbuck began to used pink coloring of crushed insects to brighten their Strawberry and Creme Frappuccino. Thsed tiny white insect, are called Dactylopius coccus and caused an uproar and customers pressured that to stop. It's approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and considered natural but not vegetarian.

Did You Know? that red seaweed called carrageenan is often in yogurt and alternative milk products as a filler and thickener. Some scientists have presented evidence that carrageenan is highly inflammatory and toxic to the digestive tract, and claim that it may be responsible for colitis, IBS, rheumatoid arthritis, and even colon cancer.
