Good Morning all, I hope you are having a great weekend, i tend to use Sundays as a prep day and a day to reflect. This weekend I have been getting organized this weekend, after meeting with a friend and online marketer this week I realize I am procrastinating too. Been dragging my feet a little on the certification and the business plan aspect. Got me thinking and googling why people procrastinate. Here’s what I came up with.

Procrastination Word Cloud Concept in red caps with great terms such as anxiety, delay, behavior and more.

The 4 Main Causes Of Procrastination

  1. A Fear of Failure. In my experience one of the most common causes of procrastination is a deep-rooted fear of failure.

  2. Excessive Perfectionism. Another common cause of procrastination is excessive perfectionism.

  3. Low Energy Levels. …

  4. A Lack of Focus.

Running through this list I realized it has to be the fear of failure, because its definitely not the lack of energy or focus. I don’t see myself as a perfectionist or at least I am no longer. I remind myself most times to, ” get it out there and you can always make it better. ” It makes sense it is the fear to fail, helping people and writing blogs is fun, while studying and tests and business plans cause anxiety.

So as you read this make sure you arent holding yourself back because of the fear of failing another diet because if you are reading this and working with me there is NO failing here, we build and learn each day. So prep your meals and reflect on your week and lets work together this week to make healthier choices, feel better and be kind to ourselves. Knowledge is Power and Health is Real Wealth

I will be pushing myself to set up study blocks of time this week and working on my mission statement.
