Real Food Alternative to Processed & Expensive Protein Powders

So many people use protein powders in their diets, are you a fan? I’ll tell you why I’m not… because there are so many REAL foods which give you just as much if not more protein and this way you know exactly what you are putting into your body. Did you know:

  • 3 tbsps of Chia seeds = 8g protein

  • 3 tbsps of Flax seeds = 7g protein

  • 3 tbsps of Hemp seeds = 9g protein

  • 1oz of Peanuts = 7g protein

  • 1oz of Cashews = 5g protein

  • 1oz of Almonds = 6g of protein

Use the seeds in your smoothies or oatmeal and the nuts on other meals if you need more protein in your diet. Stay away from anything made in the lab, you don’t want to put other chemicals in your body!
