Nearby adventure, 5 Tips to stay well during the holiday season. What is intermittent fasting and does it work? I am taking myself on a little vacation this weekend on Friday I’m heading to New York City I found a super cool boutique hotel in Soho for 60 bucks a night. Taking my books journals calendar and notebook, I hear there’s great vintage thrift stores around in Little Italy is it walking distance Hopping on a train to Penn, I get a chance to see NYC quieter during The holidays. My plan is rest, relax, treat myself to yummy vegan treats. Step out of my everyday and find an adventure for myself. Will be hosting my Zoom classes from the hotels gym, excited to see the equipment and mix it up. 5 ways to stay well during the holidays of 2020 1. Quiet getaways: Inexpensive day or hours away focused on you and clearing your head. Making time for your self is key to a healthier mind and body 2. Eat cleaner: If food is medicine and the holidays takes a lot out of us then eating cleaner and mindful will make you feel better. 3. Start Journaling: Put your thoughts on paper, write out your fears anxiety and stress and make a plan, change your words, focus on who you want to be. 4. Being Creative: Its the holidays... Think about being creative and writing, drawing, painting and DIY YouTube video. Making art is therapeutic and fun. 5. 5-10 Stretching or Workout: Even for 5-10 mins to start. With the holiday we are moving and hustling that much more but we don't give ourselves that time to rest. Adding just a little time for exercise with keep you well during the holidays What is intermittent fasting? Does it Work?
