Stretching Myself Out Of Pain: Make Time For You

Woke up at 4:30 am, after coffee and water off to the shower as hot as I can take it, dressed and within minutes stretching and using my body roller. Its become a time to listen to my body and quiet my head.

Now a Routine to Stretch Morning and Night 10 mins

I started adding stretching to my healthy routines about a year ago. I was in constant pain with my lower back, neck and slipped on the ice that winter destroyed my shoulder with numbness to my fingertips. I couldn’t consistently workout and that began to depress me add aging on top of that, I wasn’t in a great place.

I read stretching would help so I added it and now I cant even imagine if I didn’t stretch and use the body roller. I start my day with less pain and end my day relaxed and stretched as I fall asleep. 20 mins of your day for you…..Make the time.

Friends have asked how I use the massage roller, I will be working on a video but in the meantime you can get a good idea from the pictures. I use my body weight to balance and dig the roller into the muscles, I listen to my body and find the painful areas and slowly begin to kneed the muscles.
