Starting my journal again today. In the last year I have tried to keep a journal near me to write in. I will continue to have a paper journal but I think today I will start another type of journal here.?

My goal is to write an hour a day. To use the time, to explore and create, reflect and learn more about me and what I can teach others. To become more productive, to become a better health coach, personal trainer, mother, lover and human. To explore eating clean, fasting, plant-based Life, simple living, sustainability and mindfulness

Three topics come to mind this morning:? Eating Clean, Morning Routine, 1% Better De-cluttering

?How Do I Eat Clean?

Read Ingredient?

When I began my journey to eating clean I started to read the actual ingredients on the back of the package. Yes the small little lettering that you could hardly read. Why? I started to learn that there was much science in my food and began to find better favorite replacements. I started to ask myself these questions. Can I Pronounce the Ingredients? Real Food or Science Projects? Such as high-fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oil, soy protein isolates or aspartame?.

Ask myself can i make this at home??

I will stay through the years I have a little less patience for cooking so I look for simple recipes. When I read the ingredients on the package food I ask myself do I have or can I buy these ingredients for home? Is this real food ingredients? Is it a minimal process?

Is it Organic & Non GMO?

Whenever possible I try to buy organic and non-GMO ingredients. I do believe the science that organic and non-GMO food is a healthier and a more nutritious way of life. I reduced my meat intake and now plant-based tor the last 9 months and WON?T go back because I feel so much better and save money. I cut my grocery bills in half and am healthier for it.?

Why have a Morning Routine?

When I started to work from home over a year ago I began to listen to books on how to be more productive, manage my time, learning more so I could teach others successful ways to change habits, lose weight, get fit and find a healthier lifestyle. I stumbled onto this book called miracle morning about setting up your morning for self care and development to be more productive and happier though the day. I started playing around with one, and through the year I have designed a morning for myself and teach my clients to design one for themselves. Waking up early, stretching, meditation, affirmation, visualization of your day, reading journal writing are some of the suggestions from the book. I add singing my theme song and hydrating with water first thing.?

1% Better Each Day Each Room?

More recently I?ve been trying to find ways to simplify my life and declutter, the last few weeks and home bound due to the pandemic I realize this week was a great time to start this. I remind myself every day one percent better each day, and recently realized I could apply it here,?

So each day I intentionally go into EACH room in my home, open ONE drawer cabinet, closet or find a counter top and spend 5-10 mins organizing, cleaning and reducing unused items putting? them in a basket in the corner of the room. Every other day I go through the pile and either put it back in my closet after rethinking it, relocating it or put it in a bag for donation. I try to reduce clutter on desk and counter tops and leave only minimal items.
