Time is the one thing you wont get back.? Its not like money if you go broke you can get it back or your health where you are sick and get well. As quick as you read this I just took your time up. So what are you going to do with your time?

At 41 years old I started to take MY TIME for ME, the same day I decided to make a change. Four years ago traveling for a family vacation, I was miserable, 40lbs overweight, tired and in pain. Standing there at the airport? my eye caught a much older woman who looked fit and healthy I realized I needed my TIME. With two young kids, married life, working full time, rushing and running everywhere, I made no time for myself.

What I learned is Organized + Consistent= More Time

The key to more time is being organized and consistent with your time, write it down or keep a calendar. Here are some ways I try to Manage my time better

Are you spending your time on the right things?

What’s your priorities, is your health and wellness important to you? It should be, and you should ask yourself this question throughout the day.? Make a wish list of what is important to you and track on paper or in a journal what you are actually doing. You will find a huge amount of wasted time. Compare the list and start setting goals. This could be your time to be fit.

Give Up What You Can

To make more time for yourself, maybe its time to delegate an errands and responsibility to have time for yourself. Maybe it is worth the time and money to outsource a job or errand. In any case there must be a way to reduce your daily chores to allow you time for yourself.

Schedule and Reschedule

Write it on a Calendar: Stretching, Meditating, Journal Writing, Workouts, Fast Days. If it is on a calendar, it needs to get done, check it off as you go. I am working on my calendar, scheduling what is important that I do for myself. I’m not consistent yet but keep trying

Set Alarms & Timers

We all have phones so no excuses, set a timer to remind yourself to make time for you. Alarms and timers are great for reducing procrastination. Set an alarm far from the bed to get up early, or put the most annoying ringtone on so you rush to shut it off.
