Tips Tuesday! Tips for Your Self Care & Make Time For Yourself

Tips Tuesday! Self care is something I really want to emphasize today. It’s important to give time to yourself. It’s not selfish, it’s self preservation. We spend time rushing from one thing to the next and don’t take the time for ourselves. I’m not talking hours, unless you have them to spare, but 5-20 minutes here and there.

Here’s some of my tips:

> Reflect while you lie in bed in the morning, speak some affirmations out loud.

> Find a 5/10 minute meditation and commit to it for that time

> Go for a walk, get outside, start moving your body

> Connect with a friend, reach out, find time to spend together. Even a phone call!

> Start a healthy routine; drink more water, set yourself goals for the week, write a to-do list.

> Get up 30 minutes earlier, use this extra time for yourself

> Eat for energy; food is for health or it’ll make you sick

> Start Simple, set smaller goals and try to be 1% better everyday

> Put it on your calendar, this will make it more likely to happen.
