With one more Friday in 2020, its time to reflect and set some new goals

When I hear people say " I can't wait for this year to be over" it stops me and makes me think what about the next day? We wake up each day and GET a chance to try again.

We wake up to the many challenges of life, but we GET a chance make them 1% better each day for a compound effect. Yes this year was BIG change, for me Covid, my separation, my daughter injury & surgery have been my challenges, but I am thankful and lucky that's all.

Even more I am thankful I am still cigarettes and alcohol free and focus on better health and helping others find the simple solutions to wellness.

This year has been a very trying time for many. I am thankful that I was on my journey of meditation and journal writing and filling my head with good books instead of the crazy news the last year. It has made me realize the true need of self care and making time for it.

Self Care is defined as the practice of taking an active role in protecting one's own well-being and happiness, in particular during periods of stress. We ALL need to practice self care each day with intention.

A Super Successful Week

Working with others I love when I see or hear about success. A cousin who has been battling cancer get her numbers back and the doctor asks her what she is doing to reverse the numbers along with about 15lbs till goal. She is plant based and intermittent fasts

I work with a 96 year old man, one leg and in a wheel chair who wants to be about to move himself from the wheelchair to the bed. Watching him stand up and make progress what awesome.

Chatting with another she mentioned she had her bloodwork done her inflammation and numbers are now "normal" she feels better and lost 1.5lbs this week. She is gluten free, plant based, intermittent fasts and works out with me

Pay it Forward Friday

Each Friday I take time to do a good deed and remind others to do the same. Some weeks its a simple action some weeks its donations and dedicating time. This week with the holidays I made a donation to one of my favorite local charities.
