New Week New Goals
Making exercise fun transforms it from being a chore you can skip to a healthy “addiction” you must do.
When I started to dip my toe back into exercise at 40 years old, I started playing Wii sports and we Wii dance with my kids daily. It was fun and playful and got me moving. A neighbor asked me if I wanted to walk with her in the morning.
Exercise doesn’t have to be painful or a chore to stick with working out make it fun and a challenge. Low impact resistance training is challenge and fun for me.

Turning exercise into a game can get you into a routine for life.
Here is some ways to be successful
Buddy System:
Having a friend to workout with and keep accountable is a great way to stick the habit. Encouragement, support and accountability for each other keeps each other showing up

You Compete, You Win:
Adding the element of competition can get you hooked on working out. With competition there’s focus and a goal, individually or in a group setting.
Joy of Exergaming:
With friends or family video workout games could bring a fun and competitive way to move. Playing with my kids on Wii sports and dance definitely got me moving again.

Bet on the Fitter You:
With incentive to win money, we have a different focus. Find a group to pool money for success.
Track Your Efforts:
Tracking your progress is key to continuing on. So many apps and gadgets allow you to track your time and progress.
